Oh yeah, the blog!

Ok, ok. I know it's been like 6 months since I created this blog and it has sat basically empty since then.
Time for that to change!
My main debate (with myself) has been, "What to write and who's going to care?" Well, I think I'll write about the things I care about. I'm hoping I'm not alone in what I think is interesting, exciting and cool. Maybe some kind of narrow focus will come about after awhile, but for now, I think I'll just wing it. And maybe at some point, people will start to read it.
To that end, I added the Astronomy Picture of the Day gadget to the blog. If you have never checked out their site, I highly recommend it. They say that we are in (Insert a deep echoing voice here...) "The Golden Age of Astronomy." You can tell that is probably true if you check out APOD once in awhile.
